If you’ve been meaning to catch Music Under the Stars this season, this Friday is your last chance.
The City of Pompano Beach’s beloved free outdoor concert series wraps up the 2025–26 season on May 8, with the show at the Great Lawn — Pompano Beach Blvd. and Atlantic Blvd. — running from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. It’s free, it’s on the water, and it’s been one of the city’s best recurring events all year.
The series runs on the second Friday of every month and has built a loyal crowd that brings chairs, blankets, and good energy. Last month’s show drew a solid turnout and May should be no different — the weather in early May is about as good as South Florida gets.
A heads up: the intersection of Pompano Beach Blvd. and E. Atlantic Blvd. will be closed during the event, so plan your route accordingly and arrive early if you want a good spot on the lawn.
A free outdoor concert on the coast on a Friday night in May. There’s genuinely not a much better way to close out the week.
