A quick check-in on where Pompano Beach’s major development projects stand heading into the second half of February.
Salato Residences, U.S. Development’s 40-unit luxury condominium project on the beachfront, is progressing on schedule. The building is taking shape along the coastline, with completion expected later this year. At $2–$4.9 million per residence, it represents a clear signal about the direction of the city’s luxury market.
The Ritz-Carlton Residences Pompano Beach — the more headline-grabbing of the two major beachfront projects — is also moving. The two-tower development (32-story beachfront and 14-story marina tower) is targeting a 2026 completion. With 205 total residences, it’s a significant addition to the high-end waterfront inventory.
Downtown, the $2 billion RocaPoint Partners master redevelopment is progressing through its planning phases. The City Hall and parking deck project, which went to bid in early 2026, represents one of the first major public-side investments in the framework.
The Pomp — the 223-acre mixed-use project anchored by Harrah’s casino and backed by the Cordish Companies and Caesars Entertainment — continues to move through development and permitting. The announcement that Costco will anchor the retail component remains one of the bigger economic development stories of the year.
For a mid-sized Florida beach city, Pompano Beach has more active development moving simultaneously than most places twice its size.
